Bayes Factor User Meeting

The first Bayes factor user meeting will be on the 19th and 20th of December 2019. The meeting will take place in Utrecht, the Netherlands, at the Utrecht Science Park (university campus).

The goal of this meeting is to bring together 1) users of Bayes factor, and 2) developers of Bayes factor based approaches and software. That this is a users meeting will also be stressed by the program.

There will be:

  1. Tutorials about the use of Bayes factor based software and approaches, you can a) propose to give a tutorial, and b) propose a topic for a tutorial for which we will arrange a lecturer;
  2. Presentations in which users show how they employed Bayes factor in their research;
  3. User focused presentations about new Bayes factor based software and approaches;
  4. A poster session in which users can present the questions/problems they have with the application of the Bayes factor, which they then can discuss with other users and the statisticians that are present.

All presenters and attendees will have to pay a fee for which they will receive coffee/tea, lunch and drinks during the poster session and a walking dinner after the poster session. Further details can be found on the registration page.
